A sales letter video is a relatively new and popular way to distribute information about your company or your product. When you have regular customers who might be interested in products similar to those that they have already purchased from your business, a sales video can be easily distributed to anyone who has email. For those customers where there is a mailing address, a regular letter can point them in the direction of your website where they have access to the same video.
The video itself can be prepared by anyone who knows how to use a digital camera, but if you want the best quality presentation, you may want to hire a professional to do the script or filming or both. In this way, you have a job that looks great and stays on target. A professional can help you in all aspects of your presentation.
There are many things about your business that would make an interesting and innovative sales letter. You will need to make a determination about who the video is intended to reach. It may be for catching the interest of new customers for your business. It could be prepared to launch a new product or service. It might be an introduction to your physical plant or staff members.
The video should be part of an overall marketing plan for your business. Sending a video that describes a product that your prospective client has no knowledge of or interest in is a waste of time. Your marketing campaign may use a sales video as an introduction to your business when a sales person is calling on a new customer. It helps the customer look at the information about your business or product with no pressure.
You will need to make the video available to those who have the technology to view it easily. Even now, with all the technology that is available, some individuals and businesses don’t have the capability to view a video easily on the computer. Making the video available in a format that suits the customer is important to prevent frustration and a negative result from your efforts.
A targeted sales letter video can be an excellent addition to your marketing tools. When used wisely it is effective and economical as well. Visually oriented customers will find the images more appealing, while those who are tired of written sales letters will enjoy the unique approach offered by a video sales call.

Why Consider Sales Videos For Your Business

in Why Consider Sales Videos For Your Business
It’s fortunate that in today’s world, making sales videos for any business types is something that can be easily learned or done thanks to the various tools now available for anyone who wishes to use them. Before I proceed, though, allow me to take a brief trip back into the past.
Decades ago, when the camera was new, not a lot of people knew how to use it. The only people who knew the technicalities of picture-making were the professional photographers themselves. The most that people knew about it was that they have to sit very still in front of this new device, and then marvel afterwards at this seemingly new form of painting.
Now back to the present future, even kids have their own camera. They can take portraits of themselves or anyone else for that matter. Anyone can take pictures! Such is the effect of a tool that is made readily available for a lot of people.
And so it is with making sales videos. The tools to make one are easy to get by that it would be almost unwise not to try. And with a video being both audio and visual, there’s no doubt that it would greatly appeal to the senses of your potential clients. Not to mention it provides the user – again, your potential client – some degree of control as to the process of watching (and listening) to it. A user’s convenience is always beneficial for any business endeavor.
Luckily there are various options for you to incorporate this idea into your business. You can either, if you have enough money, hire somebody else, a company perhaps, to do it for you. Or you can simply make your own video if you know the technicalities. Or you can use power point.
Now I don’t suppose anyone would not want to have sales videos of their products and services. So here are a few things to remember:
You have to tell a story – People like stories. You can’t simply jump into telling what your services or products are and what they do. The video must talk about, for example, your vision, meaning why you came up with this product or service; why you came up with such a brand name; what it took for you to build, design and make it into a reality, etc. A short background will make the viewer more ready and eager to know what they can benefit from your products and services.
Length of video – A length of 20 minutes minimum and 30 – 35 minutes maximum will suffice. A brief introduction will go a long way.
Selling Points – A product or service may have too many selling points as to fit a 35 minute video. So do make sure to pick only at least 5 key selling points and explain each one briefly. The sensibility or practicality of the price may also be one of the five things that you want to discuss.
If you keep in mind all tips, and with a little personal touch on your part, your sales videos will be a blast.

I’m sure by now, you’re seeing the use of video sales everywhere you turn. From weight loss niches, forex trading, to making money online.
I’m sure, if you’re like me, you think they’re pretty cool.
Lets talk a bit about the advantages of using a Video Sales Letter Formula.
First, they are easy to do. All it really takes is a powerpoint program and a screen recorder.
Second, they are fast to make. Instead of taking a week or more to write a long form sales letter, you could create a video sales letter in a matter of a couple of hours.
Third, have you said this before, who has time to read a long form sales letter?
With video, your prospect doesn’t have to read the entire sales letter. Besides, what do they do anyway? They scroll right to the bottom of the page so they can see how much your product costs, right?
Using the video sales letter formula, you don’t have to worry about that. And in the formula, you can a a “Magic Buy Button” script so that the price doesn’t actually appear until you’re ready.
That way, your customer has to watch the video to a certain point, giving you time to engage them and stir up emotions.
Have you ever written a sales letter and wish it could be read the way you want it? Sometimes punctuation isn’t enough. Nor is highlights, font changes or pictures. If you want it read in your voice, than the best way is to use YOUR voice.
Some of you are probably afraid of video. But you don’t have to be.
You don’t even have to be on camera! You can just record powerpoint slides and use your voice. If you’re uncomfortable with your voice, just have someone else read the slides for you!
Look, video is the wave of TODAY. Not the future. If you want to start converting your traffic at a higher percentage, then you need to use the video sales letter formula.
I’m even using more video sales letters when promoting affiliate products. I basically drive traffic to a video sales letter. The main objective of the video sales letter is to warm up the prospect so they are excited about the video I’m sending them to.
What it has meant for me is an increased conversion rate. And, as you know, that means greater profits! I’m not even spending more on new traffic. I’m just converting more of the traffic I had.
In a promotion I did in February, I converted affiliate traffic at nearly 3%. What would that do to your profit margins if you could covert your PPC traffic into buyers at a higher rate?
For me it was huge. Which is why I’m a RAVING FAN of using the video sales letter formula.
