in Why Consider Sales Videos For Your Business
It’s fortunate that in today’s world, making sales videos for any business types is something that can be easily learned or done thanks to the various tools now available for anyone who wishes to use them. Before I proceed, though, allow me to take a brief trip back into the past.
Decades ago, when the camera was new, not a lot of people knew how to use it. The only people who knew the technicalities of picture-making were the professional photographers themselves. The most that people knew about it was that they have to sit very still in front of this new device, and then marvel afterwards at this seemingly new form of painting.
Now back to the present future, even kids have their own camera. They can take portraits of themselves or anyone else for that matter. Anyone can take pictures! Such is the effect of a tool that is made readily available for a lot of people.
And so it is with making sales videos. The tools to make one are easy to get by that it would be almost unwise not to try. And with a video being both audio and visual, there’s no doubt that it would greatly appeal to the senses of your potential clients. Not to mention it provides the user – again, your potential client – some degree of control as to the process of watching (and listening) to it. A user’s convenience is always beneficial for any business endeavor.
Luckily there are various options for you to incorporate this idea into your business. You can either, if you have enough money, hire somebody else, a company perhaps, to do it for you. Or you can simply make your own video if you know the technicalities. Or you can use power point.
Now I don’t suppose anyone would not want to have sales videos of their products and services. So here are a few things to remember:
You have to tell a story – People like stories. You can’t simply jump into telling what your services or products are and what they do. The video must talk about, for example, your vision, meaning why you came up with this product or service; why you came up with such a brand name; what it took for you to build, design and make it into a reality, etc. A short background will make the viewer more ready and eager to know what they can benefit from your products and services.
Length of video – A length of 20 minutes minimum and 30 – 35 minutes maximum will suffice. A brief introduction will go a long way.
Selling Points – A product or service may have too many selling points as to fit a 35 minute video. So do make sure to pick only at least 5 key selling points and explain each one briefly. The sensibility or practicality of the price may also be one of the five things that you want to discuss.
If you keep in mind all tips, and with a little personal touch on your part, your sales videos will be a blast.
