Before I proceed, though, allow me to take a brief trip back  into the past.</p>
<p>Decades ago, when the camera was new, not a lot of people knew how to  use it. The only people who knew the technicalities of picture-making  were the professional photographers themselves. The most that people  knew about it was that they have to sit very still in front of this new  device, and then marvel afterwards at this seemingly new form of  painting.</p>
<p>Now back to the present future, even kids have their own camera. They  can take portraits of themselves or anyone else for that matter. Anyone  can take pictures! Such is the effect of a tool that is made readily  available for a lot of people.</p>

<p>Length of video &#8211; A length of 20 minutes minimum and 30 &#8211; 35 minutes  maximum will suffice. A brief introduction will go a long way.</p>
<p>Selling Points &#8211; A product or service may have too many selling points  as to fit a 35 minute video. So do make sure to pick only at least 5 key  selling points and explain each one briefly. The sensibility or  practicality of the price may also be one of the five things that you  want to discuss.</p>

The key, however, to  an effective video on a website lies in the video sales letter script  that is used when creating this very effective marketing tool.</p>
<p>A video on your website adds an opportunity to develop a relationship  with each visitor to your site and build trust. The long sales letter  has proven itself to be ineffective in achieving the level of sales that  is possible. For one thing, an average visitor to a website will not  scroll down more than three times on a webpage before they exit, without  purchasing the product.</p>
<p>An effective video, that has been well thought out and planned can be a  remarkably effective tool. However, it is important that the video not  be over five to six minutes long and be informative and interesting. <p>I&#8217;m sure, if you&#8217;re like me, you think they&#8217;re pretty cool.</p>
<p>Lets talk a bit about the advantages of using a Video Sales Letter Formula.</p>
<p>First, they are easy to do.  All it really takes is a powerpoint program and a screen recorder.</p>
<p>Second, they are fast to make.  Instead of taking a week or more to write a long form sales letter, you could create a video sales letter in a matter of a couple of hours.</p>
<p>Third, have you said this before, who has time to read a long form sales letter?</p>
<p>With video, your prospect doesn&#8217;t have to read the entire sales letter.  Besides, what do they do anyway?  They scroll right to the bottom of the page so they can see how much your product costs, right?</p>
